If you read “Great Expectations” (S1 E1), you know the importance of Strategy, Structure & Systems. These are the foundations.
The next four S’s are people-related and are the most challenging.
Skills, Staff, Style, and Shared Values.
It is individualistic. Who they are, how they think, their priorities, their talents, how they individually interpret, how engaged are they, and others.
Change occurs one person at a time and that is why it takes so long. There are no shortcuts.
SKILLS
Skills identification is where Emotional Quotient (EQ) is more important than Intellectual Quotient (IQ) because skills are measured in ranges and lack precision.
It’s not black and white.
